At the turn of the last century the beaches were a barren strip of unbroken land. No one could understand what in the world anyone would do with such a property.... you could not even grow any crops on it.
In 1925 you could purchase beach property for $1.00 an acre. To secure a title to your pricey property you were required to build a little cottage, till the soil and spend a minimun number of days at the site each year.
Fast forward and Panama City Beach is one of the most sought after vacation destinations. There is no other like it. Panama City beach has fabulous restaurants, activities for all ages, great schools, Frank Brown park and the best ever.... the sand, sun and surf.
