A tiny artsy beach town with a stretch of sand that seems a different place and time and is worlds apart from the ordinary is Grayton Beach. Grayton is located in Walton county and as a little girl it seemed almost a story book place. The beautiful trees with moss bowing and casting shadows on the winding trails made us want to meander down them to see where they went. Grayton Beach had the neatest little cottages that seemed to stay untouched by the hurricanes over the years.

Grayton has always been one of my absolute favorite places in Florida. You really can not come to Florida without visiting Grayton. Grayton remains the sweetest little place and the years seem to bring more character to the little cottages and the beach remains quiet and mysterious. There are adorable shops and incredible artists and the lure of the place will have the same impact on you as it did on me as a little girl looking down the winding tree lined paths and exclaiming.....WOW.
